yahaaN Urdu shaai'ree ke un pehlu,oN par tavajjuh dee jaaYe gee jin kaa taa'lluq fann-e-shaa'iree ke muKhtalif uyoob-o-naqaa,iS se hai. jis t^araH har fan meN kamaal HaaSil karne ke liYe kuch` paimaane banaaYe gaYe haiN, usee t^araH shaai'ree meN bh`ee kuch` paimaane aur ma'yaar mua'iyyan kiYe gaYe haiN jin meN muKhtalif iqsaam kee Ghalat^iyoN se apnaa daamaan paak rakh`naa bh`ee shaamil hai.

in aGhlaat^ kee nishaan-dehee baRee tafSeel se u'lamaa-e-she'r-o-adab ne kar dee hai aur un ke rumooz-o-nikaat se ham ko achh`ee t^araH aagaah bh`ee kar diYaa hai. hamaare liYe Z^arooree hai keh in naqaa,iS aur aGhlaat^ kee ma'loomaat HaaSil kareN aur ph`ir in kee raushanee meN apne kalaam kaa Khud hee iHtisaab bh`ee kareN taa.k voh Saaf suth`raa aur Ghalat^iyoN se paak hokar behtar ho aur qubool-e-a'am HaaSil kare. is beHc meN yeh yaad rakhnaa bh`ee Z^arooree hai keh har Ghalat^-ul-a'am faSeeH naheeN huwaa kartaa hai. chunaan.ch faSeeH aur Ghair-faSeeH aGhlaat^ kee pehchaan aur un kee iSlaaH kaa i'lm bh`ee zer-e-naz^ar maZ^moon kaa ek maqSad hai.

yeh to z^aahir hai keh ek muKhtaSar maZ^moon meN aise mushkil mas,aleh ke har pehloo kaa aHaatah karna naa-mumkin hai. ph`ir bh`ee jo kuch` ho sakaa hai voh pesh-e-Khidmat hai. ummeed hai keh aap is ko faraaKh-dilee se qubool kareN ge.

B: Ghalat^ee-haaYe maZ^aameeN mat pooch`!

Mirza Ghalib kaa ek mashhoor-e-zamaanah she'r hai:

Ghalat^ee-haaYe-maZ^aameeN mat pooch`
log naale ko rasaa baaNdh`te haiN!

z^aahir hai k yahaan rasaa ke ma'nee haiN voh jis kee poNhach apnee manzil tak ho. isee se lafz^ rasaayee ba-ma'nee poNhach banaa hai. ek SaaHeb nihaayat sanjeedagee se doosre misre' ko yooN paRh`te haiN :

log naale ko rassaa baaNdh`te haiN! (rassaa = rope)

isee t^araH ek meHfil-e-mushaai'rah meN ek shaai'r ne lafz Hashr (=qiyaamat) ko Hashar (sheen par zabar ke saaath`) baaNdh`aa th`aa aur jh`oom-jh`oom kar voh apnaa she'r Ghalat^ talaffuz^ ke saath` sunaa rahe th`e. doosree jaanib se un ke ek maddaaH un kee hee t^araH jh`oom-jh`oom kar yooN daad de rahe th`e:

vaah SaaHeb, vaah! kamaal kar diYaa! she'r sun kar maiN to bohat hee maKht^oot^ huwaa!

yeh z^aahir hai keh unhoN ne meHz^ooz^ (meem, Hey, zoe, vav, zoe) ke nuqt^e paRh`ne meN Ghalat^ee kee th`ee aur us ko apnee daanist meN maKht^oot^ (meem, Khey, toe, vav, toe) samajh` baiTh`e th`e!

yeh micaaleN to aisee Ghalat^iyoN kee haiN jo logoN se un kee kam-i'lmee yaa be-i'lmee kee vajh se sarzad ho jaatee haiN, aur shaayad isee vajh se qaabil-e-mua'afee bh`ee haiN. ph`ir bh`ee is meN to koyee shak naheeN hai keh aisee aGhlaat^ kaa Urdu nacr (prose) yaa nazm meN ista'maal kisee Soorat se bh`ee qaabil-e-qubool mutaSavvur naheeN ho saktaa hai.

is qism kee Ghalat^iyoN ke i'laavah kuch` aise alfaaz^ bh`ee KhaaSee ta'daad meN maujood haiN jo a'am t^aur se apne Ghalat^ talaffuz^ yaa Ghalat^ ma'nee meN mashhoor-o-musta'mil haiN, aur in ko nah Sirf a'waam aur kam paRh`e-likh`e log hee be-jh`ijh`ak ista'maal karte haiN bal_k bohat se paRhe-likhe aSHaab bh`ee inheN ista'maal karne meN koyee takalluf meHsoos naheeN karte haiN.

macala lafz^ mashkoor ko leejiYe. is kaa mat^lab hai voh shaKhS jis kaa shukriyah adaa kiYaa jaaYe. shukriyah adaa karne vaalaa shaakir, shukr-guZaar, mamnoon, mutashakkir vaGhairah kehlaataa hai. mashkoor Arabee kaa lafz^ hai aur mafool ke SeeGhe se ta,alluq rakh`taa hai. waZ^aaHat ke liYe isee qabeel ke doosre alfaaz^ darj-e-zel haiN:

mabood = woh jis kee ibaadat kee jaaYe
marHoom = woh jis par reHm kiyaa jaaYe
maqbool = woh jis ko qubool kiyaa jaaYe
mardood = woh jis ko radd (reject) kiyaa jaaYe, waGhairah.

lekin is ke baa-wujood ham dekh`te haiN keh log kisee kaa shukriyah adaa karte haiN to kehte haiN keh maiN aap kaa bohat mashkoor hooN jo saraasar Ghalat^ hai!

ba'Z^ auqaat aisee Ghalat^iyaaN maZ^Hakah-Khez Soorat-e-Haal paidaa kar detee haiN. logoN ke naamoN meN aisee Ghalat^iyaaN akcar naz^ar aatee haiN. zel meN chaNd aise naam diYe jaate haiN jin se Khud raaqim-ul-Huroof kaa paalaa paR chukaa hai:

Masjood-ul-Husain yanee voh shaKhs jis ko Husain (PaiGhambar-e-Islam ke navaase) sajdah kareN! yeh aur a'rZ^ kartaa chalooN keh agar yeh naam apne ma'nee meN qadre muKhtalif bh`ee hotaa, jaise Sajid-e-Husain, ya'nee Husain ko sajdah karne vaalaa to bh`ee qat^ae'e naa-qaabil-e-qubool hotaa kyoN_k Islamee uSool ke liHaaz^ se Allah ke sivaa kisee aur ko sajdah karne kee b.ilkul ijaazat naheeN hai!

Ma'bood-e-Ahmad yanee voh shaKhS jis kee Ahmad (yeh PaiGhambar-e-Islam kaa doosraa naam hai) i'baadat kare!

Shams-ul-Qamar ya.nee chaaNd kaa sooraj- (subHan.Allah!)

Qamr-un-Nahaar yanee bh`aree dopahar kaa chaaNd! yeh naam Bangladesh meN laRkiyoN ke liye bohat a'am hai.

Abdul Sajid yanee aise shaKhS kaa baNdah jo Khud Allah ko sajdah kartaa ho!

yeh mas,alah roz-marrah kee zindagee meN to aisaa aham naheeN hai aur kaam chal hee jaataa hai. magar jab baat she'r-o-adab kee ho to ph`ir zabaan-o-bayaan kee nazaakateN aur baareekiyaaN bohat aham aur in kaa iHtiraam naa-guzeer ho jaataa hai. neez qavaa,id kee paabandee bh`ee usee qadar laazim ho jaatee hai. KhuSooSan naz^m meN zabaan-o-bayaan ke iltizaamaat aur taqaaZ^oN se daaman bachaanaa naa-mumkin ho jaataa hai aur ch`oTee see Ghalat^ee bh`ee baRee nazar aatee hai.


C: chand ist^ilaaHaat aur vazaaHateN

zer-e-naz^ar maZ^moon meN aise alfaaz^ aur fiqroN par guftgoo maqSood hai jo log yaa to be-i'lmee meN a'adata" Ghalat^ ista'maal karte haiN yaa jaante-boojh`te aise alfaaz^ ke ista'maal meN takalluf meHsoos naheeN karte haiN. is silsileh meN do ist^ilaaHaat kee ta'reef maZ^moon kee vazaaHat meN mua'avin ho gee:

(1) Ghalat^-ul-a'waam : ya'nee voh alfaaz^, fiqre aur muHaavare jo a'waam laa-i'lmee yaa kam-i'lmee kee vajh se Ghalat^ ista'maal karte haiN. ahl-e-i'lm ke liye aise alfaaz^ aur fiqre she'r-o-adab meN qaabil-e-qubool naheeN haiN aur in se iHtiraaz Z^arooree samjh`aa jaataa hai.

(2) Ghalat^-ul-a'am : ya'nee voh alfaaz^, fiqre aur muHaavare jin ke a'am t^aur par Ghalat^ ista'maal meN avaam ke i'laava paRhe-likhe log bhee shaamil haiN.

in alfaaz^-o-taraakeeb meN ba'Z^ aise bh`ee haiN jo Ghalat^-ul-a'am faSeeH kee ta'reef meN aate haiN, ya'nee yeh voh alfaaz^-o-taraakeeb haiN jo a'am t^aur se apne Ghalat^ talaffuz^ yaa ma'nee meN musta'mil haiN lekin kacrat-e-ista'maal se yaa aSHaab-e-i'lm-o-zabaan kee qubooliyat kee binaa par zabaan-o-bayaan meN daaKhil ho gaye haiN aur ab darjah-e-faSaaHat par faa,iz haiN.

is marHale par faSaaHat kee ta'reef munaasib ma'loom hotee hai:

faSaaHat kee mujmil ta'reef yeh hai keh lafz^, fiqre yaa muHaavare ko is t^araH ista'maal kiYaa jaaye jaise mustanad ahl-e-zabaan likh`te yaa bolte haiN. Maulanaa Seemaab Akbarabadi ne apne ek she'r meN is ta'reef ko yooN bayaan kiYaa hai:

maiN faSeeH-ul-kalaam hooN :Seemaab:
Saaf suth`raa kalaam hai meraa!

z^aahir hai keh ahl-e-zabaan kaa t^areeqa naapne kaa koyee mustaqil paimaanah naheeN banaayaa jaa saktaa hai kyoN.k zabaan vaqt aur Haalaat ke saath` badaltee rehtee hai. chunaan.ch faSaaHat kaa taSavvur aur alfaa^z aur fiqroN kaa faSeeH yaa Ghair-faSeeH qaraar diyaa jaanaa bh`ee zamaane ke saath` badal saktaa hai.

is tamheed ke ba'd ab nafs-e-maZ^moon kee jaanib tavajjuh kee jaatee hai.


D: Urdu meN Arabee aur Farsi alfaaz^:

yeh baat kisee cuboot kee muHtaaj naheeN hai keh Urdu zabaan meN Arabee aur Farsi ke bohat se alfaaz^ musta'mil haiN. in alfaaz^ ko moTe-moTe teen giroHoN meN munqasim kiyaa jaa saktaa hai:

(1) aise alfaaz^ jin meN kisee qism kee lafz^ee yaa ma'navee tabdeelee naheeN kee gayee hai, ya'nee yeh Urdu meN aakar bh`ee Arabee yaa Farsi kee apnee aSl shakl aur ma'nee meN hee musta'mil haiN, macala:

alam (=dukh`), raqam (=likh`naa), maslak (=tareeqah), duniyaa vaGhairah.

aise sab alfaaz^ Urdu naz^m-o-nacr ke muKhtalif asaaleeb meN be-takalluf ista'maal kiYe jaa sakte haiN.

(2) aise alfaaz^ jin meN kisee qism kee lafz^ee tabdeelee kar ke Urdu meN ista'maal kiYaa jaataa hai. yeh tabdeelee aa'raab (zabar, zer, pesh vaGhairah) aur hai,at (shakl) donoN kee ho saktee hai, macala:

Half (=pledge) ko Halaf
Harf (=letter) ko Haraf

keh diYaa jaataa hai. bohat se alfaaz^ kaa talaffuz^ badal diYaa gayaa hai, macala:

mausim (season) ko mausam
mauqif (stand or point of view) ko mauqaf
mauqi' (occasion) ko mauqa
mauled (jaa-e-paidaa,ish) ko maulad

likh` diyaa jaataa hai. yeh Ghalat^ talaffuz^ is qadar a'am ho gaye haiN keh in ko Ghalat^-ul-a'am kaa darjah mil gaYaa hai. aap Khud hee sochiYe keh kitne log haiN jo yeh jaante bh`ee haiN keh aSl lafz^ mausam naheeN bal.k mausim hai? yehee Haal kuch` aur alfaaz^ kaa bh`ee hai. un kaa SaHeeH aur Ghalat^ talaffuz^ neeche diYaa jaa rahaa hai:

saiyyid = sardaar, ko u'mooma saiyyad kahaa jaataa hai
jaiyyid = zabar-dast, ko u'mooma jaiyyad kahaa jaataa hai
maiyyit = dead body, ko u'mooma maiyyat keh dete haiN

aise beshtar alfaaz^ bh`ee Ghalat^-ul-a'am faSeeH kee ta'reef meN aate haiN.

(3) aise alfaaz^ jo Arabee aur Farsi se Urdu meN muntaqil hote huwe kisee ma'navee tabdeelee kaa shikaar ho gaye haiN, ya'nee apnee aSl zabaan meN un ke ma'nee kuch` aur th`e lekin Urdu meN voh doosre ma'noN meN ista'maal kiYe jaate haiN. chand micaaleN darj-e-zel haiN:

taraddud Arabee meN aamad-o-raft ke liYe bolaa jaataa hai aur Urdu meN fikr-o-tashveesh ke liYe.

Khiffat Arabee meN kisee cheez kaa halkaa honaa ke ma'nee meN hai, aur Urdu meN sharmindagee ke liYe musta'mil hai.

Ghurbat Arabee meN vatan se dooree ke liYe aur Urdu meN isee ma'nee ke ilaava muflisee ke liYe bh`ee musta'mil hai.

raa,igaaN Farsi meN muft, be-daam aur Urdu meN bekaar ke ma'noN meN liYaa jaataa hai.

jahaaz Arabee meN saaz-o-saamaan aur Urdu meN kashtee ke liYe musta'mil hai.

auzaar Arabee meN yeh jama' (plural) hai aur bhaaree bojh ke ma'nee rakh`taa hai lekin Urdu meN vaaHid aur jama' donoN taraH musta'mil hai, neez aalaat ke ma'nee meN ista'maal hotaa hai.


E: kuch` aur chaahiYe vusa't mire bayaaN ke liYe!

in teenoN iqsaam ke ilaava Urdu meN bohat se alfaaz^ aise bh`ee haiN jo ahl-e-Urdu kee apnee iKhtiraa' aur eejaad haiN. unhoN ne Farsi aur Arabee ke qaai'doN ko Hindustaanee alfaaz^ par ista'maal kar ke naye alfaaz^ banaaye haiN jo a'am t^aur se bole aur likh`e jaate haiN aur jin kee faSaaHat aur adab-o-she'r meN un ke ista'maal ke javaaz yaa adam-javaaz kee jaanib koyee KhaaS tavajjuh naheeN kee jaatee hai.

isee t^araH saikRoN aise alfaaz^ bh`ee haiN jo Urdu kee Z^aroorat ke liHaaz^ se taraash liYe gaye haiN aur ab voh zabaan-o-adab kaa HiSSah ho kar reh gaYe haiN. in alfaaz^ se bh`ee akcar-o-beshtar ta,a'rruZ^ naheeN kiyaa jaataa hai. aise alfaaz^ kee chand micaaleN neeche dee jaa rahee haiN:

(a) kuch` alfaaz^ Arabee aur Farsi ke alfaaz^ meN yaa-e-ma'roof (chhoTee ye) lagaa kar nayee shakl meN Dh`aal liYe gaYe haiN jab.k aise naYe alfaaz^ kaa mat^lab apnee aSl shakl se muKhtalif naheeN hai, macala:

Ghalat^ se Ghalat^ee
taGhaaful se taGhaafulee
tuGhyaan se tuGhyaanee
adaa se adaayee, vaGhairah.

Saaf z^ahir hai keh in alfaaz^ kee tabdeel-shudah SooratoN ke baGhair bh`ee kaam ba-Khoobee chal saktaa th`aa aur is ijtiHaad kee koyee KhaaS Z^aroorat naheeN th`ee.

(b) in se ziyaadah dilchasp voh alfaaz^ haiN jo ba-zaat-e-Khud jama' (plural) haiN lekin a'vaam ph`ir bh`ee un meN kabh`ee kabh`ee vav aur noon-e-Ghunaah milaa kar jama' kee jama' banaane se baaz naheeN aate haiN, macala:

aGhyaar se aGhyaaroN
kuffaar se kuffaroN
arvaaH se arvaaHoN
a'maal se a'maaloN
aacaar se aacaaroN, vaGhairah.

z^aahir hai keh yeh saare alfaaz Ghair-faseeH haiN aur in kaa she'r-o-adab meN ista'maal naa-qaabil-e-qubool hai.

(c) Arabee meN alfaaz kee jama' banaane kaa aik tareeqa yeh hai keh lafz^ ke aaKhir meN alif, tey baRh`aa dete haiN. Urdu vaaloN ne in se milte julte bohat se alfaaz^ isee tareeqe ko ista'mal karte huwe maqaamee alfaaz^ se taraash liYe haiN aur ab voh zabaaN-zad-e-a'am-o-KhaaS ho kar reh gaYe haiN, macala:

jaageer se jaageeraat
bohat se bohtaat
baaGh se baaGhaat
deh se dehaat
jahaaz se jahaazaat
lavaazim se lavaazimaat
eHkaam se eHkaamaat, vaGhairah.

(d) bohat se alfaaz^ voh haiN jo chooN-chooN kaa murabbah kahe jaa sakte haiN aur hamaaree Z^arooratoN ke liHaaz se banaa liYe gaYe haiN. in kaa ek HiSSah kabh`ee kabh`ee Arabee yaa Farsi hotaa hai aur doosraa desi. ham aap in ko rozaana hee be-takalluf ista'maal karte haiN aur in meN se akcar she'r-o-adab kaa HiSSah bh`ee ban gaYe haiN. chand micaaleN dekh`iYe:

lafz^ee, Harafee, gh`amanDee, peshagee, josheelaa, t^araH-daar, vaZ^a'daar, samajh`daar, taabe'daar, shauqeen, buzdilah, a'Sraanah (seh pehar kaa naashta), i'shaa,iyah (raat kaa kh`aanaa), Khushaamadee, vaGhairah.

(e) kuch` alfaaz^ aise bh`ee haiN jo Farsi yaa Arabee ke t^areeqoN par mabnee qiyaas se banaa liYe gaYe haiN aur ab a'am t^aur par musta'mil haiN. yeh Z^aroor hai keh ahl-e-zabaan in ko ista'maal karte huwe iHtiyaat^ karte haiN keh Arabee aur Farsi taraakeeb meN in ko nah likh`aa jaaYe, lekin is kee paabandee bh`ee saKhtee se naheeN hotee hai.

alfaaz^ ke ista'maal kaa a'am uSool yeh hai keh she'r-o-adab meN Ghalat^-ul-avaam alfaaz^, fiqroN aur muHaavaroN se mut^laq parhez kiyaa jaaYe lekin Ghalat^-ul-a'am faSeeH alfaaz^ ke ista'maal meN koyee muZ^aa,iqah naheeN hai, jab.k Ghalat^-ul-aam, Ghair-faSeeH (macala mashkoor ba-ma'nee mamnoon) ma'yoob aur qaabil-e-tark haiN.


F: Khudaa se kyaa sitam-o-jaur-e-naaKhudaa kahiYe!

is saaree beHc kaa ek nihaayat dilchasp pehloo yeh hai keh bohat se Ghalat^-ul-a'vaam aur Ghalat^-ul-a'am, Ghair-faSeeH alfaaz^ asaatiZah ke yahaaN naz^ar aa jaate haiN. in ko dekh` kar Hairat hotee hai keh aisaa kyoN kiyaa gayaa hai. ba'Z^ maqaamaat par aisee faash Ghalat^ee naz^ar aatee hai keh asaatiZah ke maqaam kaa liHaaz karte huYe sivaaYe Khaamoshee ke koyee aur chaarah naheeN reh jaataa hai. zel meN chand micaaleN dee jaa rahee haiN jo Maulaanaa Hasrat Mohani kee kitaab nikaat-e-suKhan se lee gayee haiN:

(a) Khudaa-e-suKhan Mir Taqi Mir ko dekh`iYe keh kyaa kehte haiN:

taaboot miraa der uTh`aa us kee galee se
icbaat huwaa jurm-e-muHabbat kaa isee se

in t^uyoroN se hooN maiN bh`ee agar aatee hai Sabaa
baaGh ke chaaroN t^araf aag lagaa dete haiN

icbaat huwaa ya'nee caabit huwaa a'vaam kaa muHaavarah hai. isee t^araH t^uyoor (=parinde) jama' hai t^aa,ir (=parindah) kee, chunaan.ch t^uyoroN kehnaa isee t^araH Ghalat^ aur ma'yoob hai jaise sho'raaoN yaa u'lmaaoN likh`naa!

isee t^araH dekh`iye Mirza Rafee Sauda kyaa keh rahe haiN!

too to is ma'nee se kyaa shaad huwaa hovegaa
pooch`iYe ahl-e-diloN se keh voh kyaa karte haiN!

tujh` ko faqat^ chiraaGh-e-shaam, Dh`ooNDh`e naheeN hai gha`r-ba-gh`ar
ph`irtee hai baad-e-subHgaah, Khaana-ba-Khaana, koo-ba-koo!

us chashm kaa Ghamzah jo kare qatl-e-do-a'alam
goshe ko nigah ke naheeN parvaah kisee kee

pehle she'r meN ahl-e-dil kee jagah ahl-e-diloN hai jo b.ilkul a'vaamee zabaan hai aur isee liYe Ghalat^ bhee hai!

doosre she'r meN ghar-ghar kee jagah ghar-ba-ghar baaNdh`aa hai. yeh bh`ee Ghalat^-ul-avaam hai aur naa-qaabil-e-qubool maanaa jaataa hai.

teesre she'r meN parvaah likhaa gayaa hai jab.k aSl lafz^ parvaa hai (baGhair hey ke). yeh bh`ee a'vaam kee zabaan hai aur ahl-e-zabaan is se parhez karte haiN. Ghalib kehte haiN keh:


nah sitaayish kee tamannaa, nah sile kee parvaa
gar naheeN haiN mire asha'ar meN ma'nee, na sahee!

Ghalat^-ul-a'vaam kee chand aur micaaleN HaaZ^ir-e-Khidmat haiN:

na ph`ool ab is qadar bulbul guloN kee aashnaayee par
keh ab ahl-e-chaman haNste haiN teree aHmaqaayee par! (Shah Hatim)

maiN dekh`aa Khaak th`aa baatin meN jooN chob-e-kiram-Khurdah
ba-zaahir gar.ch naz^roN meN tiraa beemaar behtar th`aa (Qa'im Chandpuri)

bas kar sitam-eejaad keh a'alam meN qiyaamat
barpaa hai tire dast-e-tazallum se ziyaadah (Shah Naseer)

daaman-e-gul se bh`ee halkaa vazan-e-daaman hai
is pe bh`ee baar use ik shikan-e-daaman hai (Tanveer Dehlavi)

jazbah-e-dil ne mire kuch` to karee hai taaceer
ph`ir huyee un kee jo altaaf-o-i'naayaat shuroo' (Tanveer Dehlavi)

naz^ar-e-lut^f-o-karam aur hai aGhyaaroN par
zulm kee aur nigaaheN haiN vafaa-daaroN par (Ashiq Dehlavi)

pehlee micaal meN Shah Hatim jaise ustaad-e-fan Humq (aHmaq-pan) kee jagah aHmaqaayee likh` rahe haiN jo b.ilkul a'vaamee lafz^ hai aur saraasar Ghair faSeeH!

Shah Naseer z^ulm kee bajaaYe taz^alum likh`te haiN jo Ghalat^ hai.

is se aage jaaiye to Tanveer Dehlavi vazan (ze par zabar ke saath`!) likh` rahe haiN HaalaaN.k SaHeeH lafz^ vazn (ze saakin) hai! agle she'r meN Tanveer kee ke bajaaYe karee likh`te haiN aur yeh Ghalat^-ul-a'waam hai!

Ashiq Dehlavi aGhyaar kee jagah aGhyaaroN naz^m karte haiN jo Ghalat^-ul-a'vaam hai aur Ghair-faSeeH hee naheeN bal.k naa-qaabil-e-qubool bh`ee hai!

is qism kee Ghalat^iyaaN ch`oTe shaai'roN se sarzad ho jaayen to ek baat hai lekin jab asaatiZah aisee laGhzishoN ke murtakib hoN to t^araH t^araH ke Khayaalaat dil meN aate haiN. dekh`iYe aur chand shoa'raa, ba-shamool-e-Mirza Khan Dagh Dehlavi, kyaa kehte haiN:

aa'daa ke taa'shshuq meN sabh`ee kuch` hai gaNvaayaa
pehlaa saa voh andaaz-o-adaa naaz kahaaN hai? (Ashiq Dehlavi)

shakl-e-aSlee se kabh`ee raNg tabaddul na huwaa
GhuNchah gul ho ke kh`ilaa, gul kabh`ee bulbul na huwaa (Dagh Dehlavi)

pehle she'r meN ishq kee jagah taa'shshuq aur doosre meN tabdeelee kee bajaaYe tabaddul a'vaam kee zabaan haiN.

Dagh ke is she'r par Hasrat Mohani ne yooN tanqeed kee hai:

tabdeelee ke bajaaYe tabaddul juhalaa kee zabaan hai. taa'jjub hai keh Dagh ne is ko kyoN-kar jaa,iz kiyaa!:

Hafiz Jaunpuri ke do asha'ar aur sun leejiYe:

yeh sunte th`e tark-e-muHabbat hai mushkil
ba-jabra magar us ko bh`ee kar ke dekh`aa (Hafiz Jaunpuri)

ba-jabra ko jabra kee jagah likh`naa SaHeeH naheeN hai!

ajal kee be-ruKhee ne maar Daalaa
t^aveel-e-zindagee ne maar Daalaa (Hafiz Jaunpuri)

"t^ool-e-zindagee SaHeeH hai aur t^aveel-e-zindagee saraasar Ghalat^-ul-a'vaam!

darj-e-baalaa beHc-o-tamheeS se Ghalat^-ul-'aam, Ghalat^-ul-a'am-faSeeH aur Ghalat^-ul-a'waam ke farq kee vaZ^aaHat maqSood hai. is farq ko samajh`naa aur ph`ir is kaa apnee shaai'ree meN ista'maal karnaa taKhleeqaat ke Husn aur ma'yaar donoN meN iZ^aafe kaa baai'c ho gaa aur unheN Ghalat^iyoN se paak rakhne meN mua'avin bh`ee ho gaa. agar asaatiZah ke yahaaN ba'Z^ auqaat aisee hee koyee Ghalat^ee naz^ar aa jaaYe to woh un kee taqleed karne aur Ghalat^ul-a'waam ko SaHeeH samajh` lene kaa javaaz naheeN hai. asaatiZah kee taqleed kaa mat^lab un se sarzad hone vaalee aGhlaat^ kee pairavee karnaa hargiz naheeN ho saktaa.
